Shucks, we know how proud you are of your membership in the Florida Chapter of STC. The Florida Chapter is proud of you too! And especially proud of the members who have been active participants in programs, committees, mentorship, and leadership.
For more than 20 years, the Florida Chapter has recognized and rewarded the members who are essential to our chapter’s success with unique active member shirts. These distinctive leadership shirts aren’t sold, only earned. They make the Florida Chapter visible at meetings, STC conferences, and where we work. In fact, after years of envy, several other STC chapters, with our help, have started their own active membership programs.
More importantly, they also make our active members visible in the workplace. They make a clear statement that you are fully committed to your career in technical communication and staying on top of best practices and emerging trends.
Florida Chapter members earn points for every monthly chapter meeting or Administrative Council meeting attended, each program presented, or each month as a judge or mentor. Another great way to earn points (and add to your resumé) is by writing articles for Memo to Members.
Based on past campaigns, the most active 15 percent of our members can expect to receive shirts. How about it? Get active!
