How to Find Articles Using Categories, Tags, and the Search Bar

All of our articles here on MtM are put into categories such as “current issue” and “diversity and inclusion.” Some articles are tagged as well as categorized, more may be retroactively tagged. To find articles using the categories and tags as a reader, here are my recommendations.

How to Find Articles Using Categories

Category links shown inside the red box.

While looking at an article, you can see the categories it belongs to at the top above the title of the article. Clicking on one of the categories will bring up all of the articles in that category.

In this example, the categories “Current Issue” and “Volume 2021-03” were used and can be seen in the red box.

How to Find Articles Using Tags

Tag links shown inside the red box.

Scroll down the article to the bottom. The tags for the article are located at the bottom and clicking on one will bring up all of the articles with that tag.

In this example, the tags “Current Issue” and “Volume 2021-03” were used and can be seen in the red box.

How to Find Articles Using the Search Bar

At the top right corner of the page, there is a search bar icon.

Search bar icon shown inside the red box.

Click this icon to search for a term or phrase to easily find articles that include the term or phrase you’re looking for.

You can start typing the term or phrase you want to find in the search bar.

Once you’ve clicked the search bar icon, the search bar will come up. You can type the term or phrase you want to find into the “Search” field, then press the “Enter” key on your keyboard to bring up articles that include the term or phrase you’re looking for.
