STC If you missed last meeting….
Sixteen chapter members and guests donned sequins, Santa hats, and a Hawaiian shirt or two and met at the Lake Mary Marriott for a holiday reunion on December 12. Over dinner, we swapped life details, movie reviews, and family news, and lifted a glass to the holiday spirit. President Debra Johnson read “A Technical Writer’s Night before Christmas,” to the general groaning over phrases like “the nocturnal segment of the diurnal period” for “night.” The gathering was a great way to recharge our batteries for a productive and empowering chapter year in 2014.
