The Orlando Central Florida chapter of the Society for Technical Communication and the Future Technical Communicators club of the University of Central Florida (UCF) met on Thursday, February 12th, in the UCF Student Union’s Garden Key Room on campus. Incoming STC President Bernard Aschwanden and Webworks Director of Sales Chris Ward gave a very informative and entertaining presentation on using styles and outline view in Microsoft Word, as well as using Webworks to help publish content.
There was also an on-campus workshop on Friday, February 13th, that allowed attendees to take a hands-on approach to the previous night’s presentation. If you attended the workshop, you were placed into a drawing to win a Webworks software package worth a lot of money! Congratulations to Christina Hammock on winning the prize. I am extremely jealous that I was unable to attend the workshop.
